March Seasonal Produce Guide

Written by Becky

After being out of town for a week last month then spending a week in the hospital, I feel like winter just magically disappeared.  Literally, we came home from the hospital and it was warm and sunny.  Everett even asked where all the snow was.  After the season of sickness that we’ve had, I’ll gladly take an early spring this year.  We all need the sunshine around here!

The early Spring months of the past I’ve mainly loaded up on artichokes and asparagus like in these recipes: Spinach Artichoke Pizza, Fava Bean and Asparagus Orzo Pasta, Chicken and Asparagus Gratin, Asparagus and Sun Dried Cherry Risotto, and Quinoa with Asparagus and a Fried Egg.  This year, I’ll branch out a little and embrace some of the other foods on the list so stay tuned!

  1. Hey Becky! This is amazing! I found you through Cookin’ Canuck’s website and love this #EatSeasonal concept. We are Americans living overseas in the UK for the time being (My husband is military) and I love cooking seasonally. I’m a BIG Pinterest person and having a hard time “Pinning” March Season Eats. I’d like to create a folder for it but can’t find anywhere on this page to ‘pin in’. Can you help please? Thanks! Cindy

    • Hi Cindy! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Do you have a pinterest button on your browser? If not, you can download it on your pinterest account then you can pin from any website even if they don’t have pinterest buttons. Hope that helps and enjoy your time abroad!!
