  1. I just took a class and canned whole tomatoes for the first time last week. I already can’t wait to eat them. Now that I have seen how easy canning can be, I want to can everything!

  2. I have yet to try canning anything (but would love to give it a try!), but my favorite canned thing to eat is probably strawberry jam 🙂

  3. This is really interesting, You are a very skilled
blogger. I’ve joined your feed and look forward to seeking more of your magnificent post.
Also, I’ve shared your web site in my social networks!

  4. I just canned for the first time this summer! And love it! I made strawberry vanilla jam and blackberry lime and managed to get my twelve year old’s very rare two- thumbs up “better than smucker’s, momma” …. and that’s the best thing ever:)

    • Abby, I was scrambling to find stone fruit to can (but I had the time) then I discovered a ‘homeless’ fruit tree outside my friend’s apartment. The discovery was pure joy 🙂

  5. Last year was my first year canning and I only attempted a few simple things. This year I am hoping to do a better job of filling my pantry. This would be a fun giveaway to win!

  6. My favorite thing to can is roasted tomatoes. I use them all winter long in everything from enchiladas to stew and marinara sauce. Yum!
