Instead of coming up with a list of my own best recipes this year I decided to share with you some of the best food blogger recipes from 2013. These are recipes I’ve tried at home or have had the pleasure of enjoying with the bloggers themselves. They are all amazingly delicious and you should try them out yourself!
Homemade Croissants by Half Baked Harvest (made these on our anniversary)
Classic Gougeres by Simple Bites (made these for Christmas and Thanksgiving this year!)
All American Pizza by Barbara Bakes (she brought this to me when Everett was born and, I promise, pizza has never tasted so good!!)
Whole Wheat Hazelnut Chocolate Chip Cookies by Completely Delicious (pictured above; Annalise often brings me cookies and these are my very favorites!)
Quick Refrigerator Pickles by Mountain Mama Cooks (made several versions of this including pickled grapes!)
Greek Tortellini Salad by Two Peas and Their Pod (Maria brought this to me after Everett was born and we devoured it!)
Mediterranean Egg Strata by Foodie Crush (Heidi brought this to my baby shower and I helped myself to several servings!)
Kale, Black Bean and Avocado Bowl by Cookie and Kate (simple but all of my favorite things in one bowl!)
Greek Lentil Soup by Kalyn’s Kitchen (Kalyn made this one for a gathering and I enjoyed a big bowl full)
Israeli Salad with Creamy Za’ahtar by Project Domestication (loved the travel story behind this so much I had to make it myself!)
Sticky Date Pudding with Toffee Sauce by Cafe Johnsonia (okay I haven’t made this yet but I can’t wait to make it and everything Lindsey makes I love!)
Here are a few other bloggers who are posting their top 10 best blogger recipes today:
What a fun list; I love hearing the stories behind how you have tried so many of the recipes. And thanks for including my Greek Lentil Soup on the list. I’m making that one again for my soup party!

My name is Marina Colonna, and here on my family estate I produce and bottle extra virgin olive oils and citrus oils from my own olive groves. If you agree, I could send you samples for you to taste then you could write about them and maybe include my brief video presentation on your blog. I am hoping to create visibility and get the best foodies talking about my oils!
I attach the presentation of my estate, do take a moment see my extra virgin olive oil production for yourselves: Colonna at a Glance – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yu8f_LARVXQ
With thanks
Marina Colonna
Hi Marina, thanks for contacting me. Where is your estate located? We hope to visit Italy again soon! I’d love to try your olive oil but I can’t guarantee that I’ll write about it. I usually try the product first and only feature products that I have previously enjoyed. Thanks again and feel free to email me at slcfoodie@gmail.com
Hi Becky,
