Baked Apple Oatmeal with Timeless Grains + GIVEAWAY

Written by Becky

There’s not much better than a bowl of hot oatmeal on a cold fall morning. Oatmeal, in one form or another, gets me through most of the winter and over the years I’ve found ways to spice up my weekday morning ritual. I created this Baked Apple Oatmeal using Shirley J Timeless Grains and have been enjoying it ever since. I make a batch of this at the beginning of the week and reheat it every morning with some steamed milk. It’s so comforting that I’ve even eaten it as a dessert a few nights. Apple Baked Oatmeal

  1. I’ve been enjoying my oatmeal with homemade soy milk. It’s really good if I just leave them in the refrigerator overnight and don’t cook them at all.
    :))

  2. I love oatmeal with a little bit of peanut butter. I’ll add some chia seeds if it’s a bit too runny or just to change the texture.

  3. I love making chocolate oatmeal with a sprinkle of cocoa powder and cinnamon for added spice! It’s best during the wintertime!

  4. I love to keep my oatmeal pretty simple, some cinnamon, honey and fresh fruit sliced on top.

Haven’t tried the homemade soy milk suggested earlier but it sounds so good I might have to take a shot at it.

  5. A tiny bit of brown sugar and a lot of cinnamon is the best way to eat oatmeal. I often slice a banana into the bowl too – so yummy!
