Healthy Dried Fruit and Nut Trail Mix

There's something for everyone in your family in this healthy trail mix.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Barbara's Morning Oat Crunch, or any unsweetened adult cereal,
  • 1 cup Nature's Path Envirokidz Cinnamon Jungle Much, or any lightly sweet kids cereal
  • 1 cup puffed kamut, or any baby puffs or baby cereal
  • 2 cups nuts, almonds and walnuts
  • 1 cup dried fruit,* raisins, blueberries, and cherries
  • 2 cup dried bananas

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl mix together all of the ingredients or have your kids mix it up. Then use a measuring cup to pour it all into a large 2 quart jar or container.
  2. Store at room temperature.

Notes

If you can find dried fruit with no sugar added, go with that.  I always look on the ingredient list and try and find a product that doesn't add any sugar.  Dried fruit is sweet enough on its own.
