Seasonal Recipes for April

Written by Becky

As I take my daily walk around the park with Everett and Henry I can’t help but let my mind wonder. I’ve been thinking about how grateful I am to be surrounded by such inspiring cooks in the blog world.  Sometimes even one or two friends whom I’ve made through blogging join us on our long walks.  But as Spring is in full bloom and Easter already swept through, I’m especially grateful for the creativity and care coming from so many blogs.

I’m loving every dish and drink created for this month’s #eatsesonal group.   Unintentionally, we had a brunch and asparagus theme which is nothing but delicious!  I think I’ll be brunching for breakfast and dinner the rest of the month!  Here are some of the great seasonal recipes created this month.

  1. the words “daily walk around the park” just made me so happy and i really want to do *exactly* that. it is just starting to warm up here, but i’m still in cold weather mode, staying inside and baking so much… i made your green tea pound cake again yesterday. that stuff is soooo good.

    • Molly, I’m so glad you like the green tea cake. It’s a favorite of mine too! I’m sure you’re craving warm weather like crazy. We’ve had an early Spring here …tulips and daffodils in full bloom, so lots of walks and laying in the grass… I’m taking full advantage of the sun!
