The garden is an unending source of the miraculous, a joy that transforms our cooking and increases our pleasure at least a thousand fold. Nothing seems to taste as good as what you’ve planted, tended, and coddled to maturity, even if it’s bug bitten, or just overgrown, and that’s why recipes that make use of that garden produce can be quite simple. – Deborah Madison
Though I haven’t been able to spend much time in my garden yet, I’m excited to enjoy the harvest of the summer and eat fresh, ripe dishes whether including my garden’s produce or farmer’s market produce. Everything just tastes better when its fresh. Here are a few recipes that take best advantage of June’s produce:
