When September hits, we are nearing my favorite time of year! Fresh Produce is at its peak in Utah and it’s time for college football to begin! I can hardly wait for cooler evenings and leaves to start changing color. There are so many fresh foods at the farmer’s market this time of year that I get overjoyed by what my options are for cooking seasonally. This is also the perfect time to start canning all of this fresh produce that you’ve grown in your garden and start making pesto, tomato sauce and jam to enjoy all winter long.

Here are some recipes to make use of all of the great foods in season:

My daughter and son-in-law are headed to the game tonight. Go Utes! I'm going to have to make time to try all these great recipes. I need to hit the market on Saturday. Thanks for linking to mine.
I am a huge fan of September as well and can't get enough of the cooking that results from the seasonal produce.
Have I told you that I love these? If not – I love these! Gorgeous!!
I love your blog. Seriously so much good stuff you're showcasing here in Utah. Can't wait to read through more.
