If I could somehow will spring to be here by wearing cute Spring clothes even while its cold outside, I'd do it. I'm thinking sunglasses and frilly summer dresses, with flip flops and wide brimmed straw hats. Maybe if I put on my spring-best and walk around the park the weather would just submit to my pitiful efforts. Or I could just browse around my favorite clothing shops around the Salt Lake area and dream of sunny days at the Farmers Market.
In hopes of bringing the spring weather, I thought I'd introduce you to my favorite local clothing shops, Koo De Ker, which just happens to have a new collection of beautiful spring clothes waiting to be worn.
If you're like me and enjoy the creative fashions of Anthropologie, H & M, Zara, or JCrew but are looking to spend less money and to buy local, you must check out Koo De Ker. Koo De Ker is located near the popular intersection of 9th and 9th in Salt Lake and offers a variety of ladies fashions, from lacy tops, to spring-time floral dresses.
Koo De Ker, is owned by my fashionista friend, Kyong An. There are many fantastic local business owners, but Kyong An is one of my favorites. Her sense of style is apparent, when you see her you'll understand. She is absolutely lovely in every way and her store is a replica of her panache. One of my favorite things about coming into Koo De Ker is knowing I'm supporting a local boutique instead of throwing money at a big chain (not that I don't ever do that...but I try my best). And her prices are unexplainably low for the chic clothing that she carries.
As you walk into this fashion boutique, you'll find gorgeous jewelry, sun glasses, scarves, and lots of fun clothes. The accessories are perfect for a gift or special occasion. I've bought birthday gifts and christmas gifts here that my friends enjoyed. I came in over the holidays with a friend and we decided to buy each other gifts from Koo De Ker, thus not actually buying for ourselves. Very wily of us!
I'm looking forward to taking advantage of this neighborhood boutique again this spring for a few new items. Bring on the Spring, sundresses and all!

ReplyDeleteKoo De Ker is a Salt Lake gold mine. I couldn't agree more it is indeed a lovely combination of Anthropologie, H & M, Zara, & JCrew. I have only been in a few times but the service is always friendly and not overbearing. I soon will be looking for an outfit for my engagement pictures and I know exactly where I will purchase it.
