What I ordered, the Stuffed French Toast. Brioche stuffed with honey walnut cream cheese and topped with a wild blueberry compote. I usually stay away from stuffed french toast, because of the cream cheese but I splurged on this one and it was well worth it!
Other things that we ordered, Steel Cut Oats with berries, brown sugar, and walnuts. And the boys ordered Eva's Eggs Benedict, which they absolutely raved about. It was served with chicken sausage, artichokes, arugula, organic eggs, and house-made hollandaise sauce. You see, Josh is a big fan of eggs benedict. This was actually the dish that won him over for eating breakfast in the first place. When we were first married I was heart broken when I discovered that the man rarely ate breakfast. Keep in mind that you could even mention going out for breakfast and I would get completly giddy at the idea of it. So, when I found a dish that Josh could enjoy for breakfast I was extatic. And his mornings haven't been the same since.
So, go try Eva's for yourself. Let me know how you think the Eggs Benedict compares to others around town. And if you have a sweet tooth, try the Stuffed French Toast.
PS... Don't leave without a $3 mimosa!!
